Overview

Overview

We designed our detention center software to give juvenile facilities a more complete way to manage information across the full detention environment. The system connects long-term juvenile records, stay-specific detention data, and facility operations in one platform, helping staff work from a clearer and more organized source of information.

Built Around the Full Juvenile Record

Built Around the Full Juvenile Record

The system is designed around a structured record model that separates information by how it is used. Long-term juvenile attributes such as contact information, medical history, incident history, court or jurisdiction history, and identifying records can remain with the juvenile record, while detention-specific details can be tied to the individual stay. This gives facilities a cleaner way to manage information that needs to persist over time versus information that belongs to a specific period of detention.

Stay-Based Detention Management

Stay-Based Detention Management

During a detention stay, staff often need access to information that is specific to that period of custody. The system supports detention-based data such as grades and points, dietary restrictions, food allergies, housing or assignment details, property tracking, body chart data, and other stay-related records that help facilities manage youth more effectively day to day.

Key Features

Facility Operations

Detention work extends beyond intake and housing, and the system is built to reflect that. Classroom rosters, schedules, shift work data, maintenance requests, and other facility-level information can all be managed in the same environment.

Unified Records

Our system keeps the juvenile record and detention record connected, giving staff a more complete view of information over time. That structure helps facilities manage both long-term history and stay-specific data without splitting work across separate systems.

Electronic Forms and Reportable Data

Each form in the system is designed to function as an electronic form tied to the juvenile record or detention record. When information is reusable and reportable, it can be saved as structured data rather than remaining trapped in a static form, giving facilities a more practical way to support reporting, retrieval, and long-term record use.

Mobile Intake

The mobile app gives staff a faster way to handle intake and other quick data collection tasks in the field. Using a phone or tablet, teams can capture new entries, signatures, confirmations, and input without waiting to return to a desk.

Why Digicomm Detention Center Software

We built this system for facilities that need more than a basic detention record. By bringing juvenile history, detention-specific information, facility data, reporting, and mobile intake tools into one platform, we help organizations manage daily operations with better continuity and less reliance on disconnected processes.
